Why choose Ubud?
Ubud is located in the central part of Bali Island. The name Ubud comes from the Balinese word Ubad that means medicine, inspired by the abundance of medicinal plants & herbs, and considered as a place of “holy inspiration”.

What makes this place so attractive is not only the breathtaking nature, but particularly because Ubud has long been known as the heart of the heritage, arts, and culture of Bali since the 1930s. More than that, Ubud is a special place for meditation, contemplation and self discovery because of its people, Hindu Balinese who preserve their religion as their daily life style. Balinese people have naturally been a real yogi since they were born. Their tradition, shown in any aspects of their life; activities, architecture, culture are naturally yoga practice. This is what makes Ubud become a special place to study yoga and spiritualism.

After suffering from injury, she started practicing yoga from various disciplines and also learned academically in Korea Wongwang University. She took a Yoga & Meditation bachelor major until becoming a yoga teacher. Sera is a member of the Korean Yoga Instructor Association and had the chance to teach in many top studios in Seoul including the biggest Korean Yoga studio franchise, Tao Yoga. She taught mostly Hatha, Vinyasa and Mahahatha Yoga. She also teaches Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga and Baby Massage as her passion in woman & maternity since her previous work as a baby planner.

Recently Sera focused on teaching Inside Flow because of her dance passion and also teaching Recovering Yoga as she experienced great progress during the rehabilitation for her previous injury. Sera is also one of few Recovering Yoga Masters in Korea. Sera found how Recovering is a very unique prop as a complimentary for several conventional yoga props like strap, block or fascia ball that give more effective benefit to improve both the practice and therapy.

Sera now teaches in Bali and is also the co-founder of Soul Yoga, yoga school in Ubud, Bali.
